Living out in the country and working on a farm as a young girl, Mikhaila Loader had always lived a healthy and active lifestyle. At a young age she competed in both dance and horse back riding and excelled in both. In high school she picked up track and field, specializing in 100 and 400 meter hurdles. She followed this dream and ended up competing at a national level in the 400mh event. When her track career came to an end in her third year at the University of Guelph, she was determined to find something else to fulfil her passion for health and fitness. This was when she found an interest for fitness competitions and competed in her first bikini show at the London Championship in 2013. Her fitness career began from there with her most successful accomplishment being a top 10 placement on the national stage in 2015.
