“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential…. These are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” – Confucius
Carmen has been in the fitness industry for 26 years. She started as a group exercise instructor, then became a personal trainer and for many years managed gyms. Presently she is a Health and Wellness Coach. Her passion for body building was inspired by competitors like Monica Brant. Although she didn’t start competing until she was 37, she was no stranger to the gym or working out.
In 2007 she competed with FAME, Musclemania and WBFF. Taking a break from the competitive world for a few years and starting back at it in 2012. Her goal was to turn Pro and never thought it was possible at the age of 40. In 2013 she became a dual Pro for Ultimate Fitness Events, both Figure and Fitness Model.
Carmen was a former Cygen Labs sponsored athlete. Currently she is a Popeye’s Supplements Athlete, Treadmill Factory ambassador, Promixx Canada ambassador, The Crystal Suit Ambassador and an Unlimited Clothing ambassador. She has been featured twice in Inside Fitness Magazine for Inside Fitness Nation, recently featured on IFM online and was one of 2014 IFM 100 Hot and Fit. Carmen has also been in an UFE ad in Strong Fitness Magazine and in ads for Cygen Labs in Inside Fitness Magazine.
Carmen will be making her debut with OPA this spring. She strives to improve each competition and is hoping for a stellar year.
