    SUMMARY

Ben’s been working in the fitness industry since 2006, starting out as a trainer, and working his way through the ranks to a point where he held managerial positions, to more recently adding a therapeutic element to his repertoire to help his in person clients get even better results.

He’s had a passion for strength training, fitness, and most of all, bodybuilding for nearly 20 years, and although a neck injury has sidelined his personal bodybuilding plans, he won’t let that stop him from using his expertise to help those he works with reach new personal heights on their journey. While a large percentage of his time is devoted to working with clients in person, he also spends a great deal of time posting videos of more generic information geared towards those who are looking to better understand things like physiology, and biomechanics, in an effort to help them get better results through their own training.

    Q & A

List your top 3 tips on training, nutrition or contest prep.

    1. The single most important factor as it relates to your success is your effort. It’s one thing that you’re in total control of. You can’t control who you’ll compete against, or how they’ll look, but you can control your effort, so that’s where your focus should lie ALWAYS.

    2. If you want to get the best results, you have to pay attention to details. Everything matters.

    3. “Life” happens, so if things start to fall off track (missing workouts, not following your diet, lacking effort, etc), take a moment to yourself, and focus on getting back on track ASAP.

    Favorite industry highlights

While I don’t have competitive experience myself, being a student of the game I would have to say my favorite highlight in recent history was seeing a new champion crowned at the 2018 Mr. Olympia. I’ve always been a fan of Phil, and watching him dominate for over half a decade was definitely incredible to witness, but who doesn’t love an underdog story? Seeing a changing of the guard was definitely a highlight for me!

Your favorite quote you like to use with clients

“Don’t be upset by the results you didn’t get with the work you didn’t do.”
